Mónica Aspe has been the CEO of AT&T Mexico since 2021. She has led the company'stransformation and its growth in customers, revenue, and profitability, consolidating it asthe second-largest operator in the market in all these metrics.
With nearly two decades of experience in telecommunications and related industries, shehas been an entrepreneur, public official, and diplomat. Prior to her appointment as CEO,she was VP of External Affairs and Corporate Communications at AT&T Mexico. Beforejoining AT&T, she served as Mexico‘s Ambassador to the Organization for EconomicCooperation and Development (OECD) and co-representative to the International EnergyAgency (IEA). She was also Deputy Secretary of Communications and a consultant in thetelecommunications, infrastructure, and aviation sectors.
In addition to her responsibility at the helm of AT&T Mexico, she is currently a boardmember of the public companies Volaris (aviation), Nemak (manufacturing), and Banamex(banking).
She earned her bachelor’s degree at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM)and her master‘s degree at Columbia University. From any position, Mónica leads diverse,agile, and high-performance teams. She currently lives in Mexico City with her family.
